Religious fanaticism is helping spread of Corona infection.

We all are aware of the corona outbreak. Corona virus is a deadly virus which has killed thousands of people worldwide and the number of deaths is increasing day by day. So far there is no proper treatment of this disease. Only precautions can keep us safe. That's why governments worldwide have issued warnings and discouraging people to gather in public or privately. Social distancing is the key of being safe.
Everyone should keep distance of at least one and a half meter from other persons, should wash hand regularly, should avoid going outside and there should be no crowd in order to be safe from the infection. But, some religious people are not ready to listen to. They are violating the orders and are not afraid of gathering in mass.
In India, some Muslims are claiming that they won't be affected as Allah will save them. Tabligi Jamat (conversion group) of Muslim in India arranged a mass gathering in Delhi in which people from abroad had also participated. Many of them were infected by the deadly virus. From there, many went back to their homes and other parts of the country. Some Hindus think that cow urine and prayer will keep them safe from corona. A Christian leader was detained for violating the orders as he was gathering people for the prayer. All these foolish people have endangered the life of innocent people.
This is not confined to India only. Even 50 percent religious people of the US are claiming that they are still going to Churches for prayers. A South Korean religious leader had to apologize in public for the wrong doings of the sect during corona outbreak.
So, it is apparent that religious sentiments are making thins worse. Religion should be a matter of individual choice. It should not be practiced in public and no body should be allowed to break the rules.
We cannot be safe unless we adopt safety measures and stay inside. It is the high time for all of us to make people aware of the situation so that other people may not be affected. I request all religious people not to do such a foolish thing. Religion should not be a matter of foolishness. It should serve humanity. Remember God helps those who help themselves.
