HyperSpace Can Piggyback On Facebook Coin Innovation.
Facebook coin has taken into the limelight of crypto news lately, with the mention of them trying to gather at least $1 B for its venture capital (not that they are short of funds but to possibly gather support from crypto community) and its alleged shopping for crypto exchanges to accept them later on. Facebook with its immense user base has consolidated enough steam to possibly shake the entire crypto industry. Tim Draper one of the more popular Bitcoin supporter and who is also a venture capitalist is said to be in a meeting with Facebook management for the said Facebook coin launch.
It is undeniable, Facebook will affect millions or even billions of people following its imminent launch. How this will affect us HyperSpace users remains to be seen. But to my point of view, we can benefit on how Facebook coin plans to encourage users not to take out their money from the app itself. Facebook coin, at least to what I've heard lately, is planning to not only use the feature for transferring money but also to use the app for paying bills, gas, groceries, meals, movie tickets, Uber rides, online purchases etc.. In so doing, users will receive rewards and discounts, offering not only the benefit of convenience but also more value for money. By doing this, people have fewer reasons to take out their money from the app itself.
Now HyperSpace can learn from this real life use cases. if somehow we can make it easier for people to transfer amps from one user to another and that people can benefit just by storing the amps (earn perks or small interests) on their wallets and possibly spend their amps directly for any online/offline purchases or payments they need to make. Then we have something great or an industry altering application with our HyperSpace platform.
HyperSpace can actually piggyback this innovation, observing how this will play out when Facebook coin introduce this to the market (India first). Then, HyperSpace can copy or even innovate what Facebook coin will provide to the masses. Both as a store of value and as a method of payment. I am excited to see how the chances of HyperSpace can disrupt the market and even outperform the heavyweights out there.
