These turkeys don't give a flock, they found grass seed!
Sometimes in life you run into some real turkeys. While going to visit a friend, I happened to find a few if these turkeys.
I have been trying to get a picture of a turkey, and today I found an entire flock. So this is a picture ten times better that I was hoping for....
They had no problem with my picture taking, and almost posed for these pictures. I am sure that they knew I was there, but they found some good eats, and were chowing down.
I almost think they knew it was not turkey season! But I bet the guy that seeded that yard would shoot them anyway, if he knew, LOL!
I am sure he will wonder why his grass didn't grow. ♡♡♡
I like the turkeys better in the garden than on the plate 😉

These guys would be pretty hard on a garden, they eat everything the can reach. But I understand I have a good friend who is a vegan. One thing I am sure of is the ideal plate varies a lot, LOL!

I think they have an underground Bunker they use to hide in during hunting season, LOL!
:)We had a rafter of 19 of them here in our fields a couple years ago. Hunters (and coyotes) have whittled that down to 5-6 now, but they are still a LOT more common here than they were 15-20 years ago. Very nice to see.
I have seen three within a mile of my house in a wooded area by a stream. But they are nice to look at, and I am seeing a lot more of them here too! They are actually impressive birds.

hey I just found out that in 3 weeks the rep numbers are going away with the new hardfork. so you won't have to worry about hitting 50 although you probably will before that happens.
Then how will you know history on someone you are looking at following? Is there a link on this new stuff?

The self vote is a leftover from FB. On FB you are supposed to self vote, ASAP. If your stuff is not good enough for you to like, why should anyone else like it?
That may be why it is so offensive here, I have noticed that Steemit is biased
just a little bitagainst FB, ROFLOL!Making it easier to join would be nice! Only about 25% of the people I get to try to sign up for steem, actually make it work. So easier would be better!
:Dsir smithlabs, did you find out anything? I heard more, they will still have the rep number but it will be more fairly attained, like using lots of bots and things won't count.
Sorry, sick puppy, been pretty busy. I have heard nothing, but I think the bots are of very little service on Steemit. Limiting them will improve the platform a lot, so that sounds good to me.
