I'll hand it to you.
Doing the right thing is rarely easy!
Some may make us feel guilty about our choices... but the funny thing is that nature is actually on your side.
A bolt of lightning (or any electricity for that matter) will take the path of least resistance.
A liquid such as water will sit upon the earth's surface unless it has an even lower point upon which to flow - pulled by gravity.
A chain will fail at its weakest link, the softest or most brittle part of the chain yielding to pressure.

And so too do humans often choose to go down the easiest path.
Sure - many among us will stubbornly choose the paths more enterprising - kind of like how lightning branches inwards and upwards - but these remain heavily outnumbered by those who would not.
The takeaway from this may be that the human individual behaves differently from the human people - and it is as a people that we are more likely to default to the easiest path.

Of course... embracing this does have its downside.
Taking the easy path only seems to work out for those who have their beds ready made, along with their breakfasts, their silver spoons and, of course, their money. Also those who thrive at and near the top of steaming bureaucracies.
For the rest of us, taking the easy way out will often result in us gaining less experience, undergoing less development, and ultimately being less prepared for what life will throw at us next.
Our sense of agency grows dulled. We rest upon our laurels.
We ease into our acceptable level of discomfort. We devolve.

This is not so say that a person who takes the path of least resistance should automatically be chastized for such. Sometimes there can be real World applications to such.
Such might even improve one's odds of survival.
Conservation of energy and all that.
However for those who wish to do more than merely survive - but to thrive...
Well... they see the prize - and the journey towards achieving it may prove as offering far from the least resistance.

You are right. Having 'the struggle' present in one's life does invite the development of character - at the cost of making life more difficult. Of course - should it not break us, it might also bring out the best in us.

I must admit that I never made the transition to watching dtube content. From a quick look through your content it seems that you rely heavily upon such.
As such, I might suggest taking photo captures from your various videos for inclusion in your future posts. Also - a little more text narrative. It will give non-dtube users more reason to go through your posts. Otherwise it looks really interesting. :c)
Congrats on making a top post. I had to check it out. Honestly, it is a bit beyond my understanding. One thing I know for sure, is I will never be a Type A Personality, taking the quickest, most effective route to every solution. I can't help but to explore the effectiveness many possibilities, before deciding on a best strategy.

The easy way can occasionally also prove to be the most efficient way - but this is far from always the case. I am certain that a person's personality plays a hand in the matter but like to think that these options remain the same for most if not all personality types.
