At the beginning Hotaru remembers her old summer vacations. At the age of 6, he lost his way on the mountain of souls There a strange masked human-like spirit named Gin appears.

She tells him in the beginning that if any human touches her, she will disappear forever. Gin helps him out of the mountain. After that Hotaru comes to visit him every day. His summer vacation ends.
