Not long back did we have social media come in action , infact facebook itself just started in 2006 and now it has over 2 billion people actively enjoying the social platform but unknowingly all that come at cost which is personal information better known as "data" by the industry, this data is collected and sold by facebook and other social media giants to cooperates making them more and more wealthier than the user who actually uses the platform , but down the line come steemit the hope of social platforms powered by the people and for the people , steemit allows its uses to post content they love and at the end get reworded by the people who use the platform .the reword is called steem which is a crypto currency that can be converted to fiat, that's the most basic thing that is so attractive about steemit.
