What is the biggest problem people are currently facing in your area?

Water is the biggest problem people are currently facing in my area as it stands now. For more than 2 weeks now, we haven't been supplied with water from the waterboard cooperation in my area, and we have been stranded for days without water. Due to the scarcity of water, someone would stay awake hoping to fetch water, which, at the end of the day, one wouldn't get to see water to fetch.

Is there someone in your community who is making a positive difference?

Yes, there is someone in my community who is making a positive difference who has taken it upon himself to drill boreholes in the community. However, in the initial place where the man wanted to drill his borehole, the water didn't come out of the place, and he then moved to another side, which was a bit far from my place. At least the man is trying his best to ensure there is availability of water supply in the community.

Has your neighborhood recently experienced any development or improvement?

Yes, my neighborhood has recently experienced development. At least with the borehole that the man has drilled, the people who are staying close to the borehole are beneficiaries of the development, and it has helped to improve the lives of people in that area.

What steps are people taking to solve local problems?

The steps that people are taking to solve local problems are as follows:

• Going out to source for water.
• Calling the attention of the government.
• Contributing money to install tap Water and solar.

Why do you think your story is important for others to know?

I think my story is important for others to know because it will be an enlightenment for others to learn from my story. Also, my story is important for others to know because it will create awareness about what people are facing in my community.
