When you write a comment a bit critical or a true impression of work on YouTube or Instagram, people start criticizing you like, "Try making a work like this if you can.", "if you don't like the work, don't comment on it.".
People hate criticisms and truths nowadays.
I think it is prevailing all around the world, not only in Japan.

Because of those people who are hysterical about criticisms, YouTube and Instagram are full of boring, I mean simple, single sentence or even a word, of which only values are being positive.
I guess if you have had run a comment system during WW II, you may have seen a similar phenomenon, especially in Japan.

So I write comments on Twitter whether my comment is criticism or praise.
I think it is good you can manage your comments by yourself.
Write comments on your own Twitter account, rather than where you cannot manage like someone else's YouTube channel or Instagram account.
And such comments on your Twitter account will help you to self-brand.
If you write comments outside your account, you are just one of the commentators, and difficult to use the comments to self-brand.

Tomorrow, you may criticize something or be criticized.
I know you all hate criticisms.
If you criticize, then you may be criticized for criticizing and banned from a community.
If you are criticized, you may be depressed.

However, tomorrow's criticisms could be more positive and accurate.
If you accept criticism, you may see a different world which you couldn't see otherwise.
Or you may find something you are looking for in criticism.
For example, let's say you draw, but recently, your drawing skill has reached a plateau, and it is getting less exciting.
And you find a hint to get out of the vicious circle in criticism towards your drawing.

たぶん、日本だけではなく、世界のどこでもそうだと思うのだけど。
ちょっとした批判・感想を述べると、「上メセだ」とか。
「好きじゃないならいちいちコメント書くな」とか。

そうしてできあがるのが、「好き」「神」だとかいう一言称賛が並ぶだけの、読んでもまったく価値のないコメント欄なわけで。
まあ、作品の投稿者はそれで嬉しいかもしれないけどね。
第二次世界大戦中の日本でコメント欄を運用しても、こんな感じになったかもしれない。

なので私は批判・感想は、チラ裏、もといツイッターに書くのだけど。
批判・感想対象は伏字にして、エゴさ対策をしてね。
大した批判・感想じゃないけれど、それらは私のもので作品の投稿者のものではないので、自分で管理できるとこに書き込むのは、戦略として間違っていないのかもしれない。
例えば、ツイッターに批判・感想を書けば、セルフブランディングに一役買うと思うんだよね。
YouTubeやらインスタの他人のアカウントのコメント欄に書いても、他のコメントで埋もれてしまう。
なので、他人のアカウントにコメントを書くのは純粋な応援コメントだけでいいのかもしれない。
つまらんコメント欄にはなるけれど、他人のアカウントのことなんて知ったこっちゃないしね。

前置きが長くなったけど。
明日は、批判されたり、批判したりするのかもしれない。
批判はするのもされるのも、リスクだと思うんだよね。
批判すれば、前述したように、コミュニティから排除されるし。
批判されたら、落ち込む人もいるでしょうし。

なんだけど。
明日の批判は、刺激的ではあるのかもしれない。
しぶしぶながらも批判を受け入れることで、もっと違う景色が見れる。
人によっては、批判の中に、探していたものが見つかるかもいるかもしれない。
例えば、あなたは絵を描くのだけど、最近はマンネリ化してしまっていて次を探しているところへ、批判というか、「もっとこういう絵のほうがあなたに向いているんじゃない？」的なアドバイスをもらえたりだとか。
