We Adulted Today! Day 2 of Rabbit Cage Rebuild
Yesterday this particular cage had to be almost completely torn apart. The former owner of it had so many oddball screws and the fencing on the bottom was too small to let rabbit poo through. It was a former quail cage after all. We took the top off to redo the fencing floor. Mostly it was hubbie and our youngest who had a ball with using handheld power tools. Tho I think he preferred just having the one on one daddy time there for awhile.
Unfortunately we didn't get it completely finished. The greenhouse has a sweet spot of hours from noon to three for nice Winter coat-less work. Hoping to finish the cage today and move one of our pregnant does into her new and bigger home soon.
Update: We're still working on this. The help over Saturday was the two youngest and hubbie didn't get it done with me at work. :( Tho it means I get to help him finish it if he doesn't sneak out to do it while I'm at work later today.
