PREVENTING THE SUNCHOKES FROM GOING TO SEED
Sunchokes AKA Jerusalem Artichokes primarily spread by the tubers.
However, there is a chance that they can reproduce by seed as well. usually, you'll need multiple cultivars to get viable seed, and since some of my neighbors are also growing these from another source, I didn't want to risk it. They spread so incredibly well underground anyway that I'll have enough to deal with.
Thankfully, many animals will enjoy the stems, leaves, and flowers, and our Jacob's sheep are eager to help out. Basically, this is a video of me feeding flowers to my sheep... enjoy!

This is really nice! Those animals are really enjoying indeed...the joy you have for agriculture can never be overemphasized, ride on brother.
That's one way to keep a crop from spreading. And the animals get a lot of good nutrition. Sheep will take care of eating basically any issue there. Do they really eat tin cans?
