in #homesteading6 years ago

Yesterday I covered farmers market in New zealand. That country being one of the pioneer in the dairy and the farming produce. It was an interesting farmers market to keep tab on. Today I want to cover multiple farmers markets from philipines.

I wanted to pick ireland for my next post but I got suggestion for covering the philipines farmers market. So decided to add the multiple known and popular farmers market.

Sidcor Sunday Market

This farmers market is located in the Quezon City. And it's one of the popular farmers market from the philipines. They are running since year 2000. And they seem to be doing lot better as years go by. They have various types of items for sale such dairy, vegetables, fruits and plants. And they also seem to be maintaining the food stalls. The market seems to be open from Sunday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Legazpi Sunday Market

It's one of the famous farmers market among the expats. And it's located in the metro manila region. They have around 180 vendor stalls in their market. And they are running the market for years. It's one of the best places to go during the weekend if you are staying in philipines for longer. Do check them out if you live nearby. The weekly market is setup from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

I was expecting to see more dairy, vegetables, fruits and plants from a farmer market, specially when you mentioned them too, in that same order.

Their official facebook pages have a lot of images. It was hard for me to pick the market feel images :)
