Accidental homesteading skill? Most of our homesteading skills have been learned on purpose. Like composting toilets, making bread in a dutch oven, starting a fire without lighter fluid (crumpled paper and cooking oil), spotting borers in our vegetable garden and cutting them out of the plant.
