Homestead animals in the news

If this catches on, this could be a new way to provide income to your homestead. Did you see this in the news a few days ago? A golf course in Oregon is providing goats as golf caddies. According to Golf Digest, goats are trained to follow the golfer and carry golf clubs, balls, tees and drinks.

From what I do know about goats...seems like the wrong animal to go with!

A miniature donkey might be cool, but he might be hard of the turf.

Haha! I have heard of pack goats. I've not really considered it myself since our goats are miniatures, so they are limited in how much they could carry anyway, and I don't have time currently to train them for that.
Haha, very cool though!

As long as you had a bucket of feed with you they might follow you. But our goats are dumb. I cannot imagine training them. BUT great sidejob for them lol

Are goats even on par with training?
