"Bantay" The Guard and His Story

Bantay, is the name of this dog.
The name "Bantay" means "to watch, to keep watching, to be watchful." No one gives him a training on how to guard but he did do it.

During the night, Bantay did not sleep at all to keep on watching around. He did a roving too and keep on barking if he notice something unusual. Actually, Bantay is not ours but he voluntarily submit himself and want to be feed like our own.

At first, my father don't want to have this dog. My father always do something that drove Bantay away but Bantay keep on coming back despite of pain and hardship.

As I said, Bantay showed worthiness to be kept and adopted. He did not sleep at night even his act showed tiredness and sleepy in the morning.

Because of the dog's vigilant character and perseverance, my father name him, "Bantay."
He is not legally adopted but heartily feed.
