Pelican feeding at The Entrance NSW attracts tens of thousands of people every year and is a main attraction at The Entrance in Australia. The Pelican feeding started by accident twenty years ago when a local fish and chip shop started feeding the pelicans scraps daily. The pelican would cross the road and walk up to the shop every day for food.
Today a local charity has taken over the feeding and also manages the birds health and removes any hooks and fishing line the birds may have tangled on them.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area
