Self-Reflection: Time, Goals, Habits, and Relationship with the Creator
Every day, my time is divided between responsibilities and searching for meaning. In the morning i start with ablution and Subuh prayer, then read the Qur'an even though only a few verses. After that, i check notifications and reply to important messages, especially those related to digital work and the community where i actively share content. The afternoon is filled with household activities, accompanying the children to study, and finishing outside the house if necessary. I want this life to be a path to charity, leave a trail of goodness, and educate children to grow with noble values. I believe that life is not only about material achievement, but about how much we can give and be a light to others.

Even so, I realize there are habits that I need to change. One of them is the tendency to postpone small tasks that can actually be completed immediately. I am often tempted to open social media for too long, which should be used for more productive or spiritual things. I want to replace that habit with time discipline and increase dhikr and reading that brings me closer to Allah.

If asked if my lifestyle brings me closer to the Creator, I would answer: it is a process. There are times when I feel close, especially when I routinely pray at the beginning of the time and maintain self-awareness. But there are also days when busyness and tiredness make me negligent. However, I don't want to give up. I want every step, every job, and every free time I have to be an act of worship—either in the form of serving my family, sharing knowledge, or contemplating the verses of Allah around me.

Finally, I realized that life is a journey back to Him. The time I spend, the goals I pursue, and the habits I maintain—all will determine how close I am to the Creator.
