"Importance of Hydration In Summer".

Hello Everyone
This is @max-pro from #Bangladesh

Assalamu Alaikum Steemian friends. I hope you are all well. By the grace of Allah, I am also well. Today I have come to take entries in a wonderful contest organized by the moderator of this community @abdullahw2. Here I will discuss the summer in detail. So let's start, stay with me.

Why is staying hydrated more important in the summer than other seasons?

Summer means intense sun, extreme heat and unbearable sweating. In Bangladesh, the temperature during this time rises to 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. During this season, a lot of water is lost from the body through sweat, which results in a lack of water in our body, which is called dehydration. This dehydration has a serious impact on our body, mind and normal life. Therefore, keeping the body hydrated during summer is very important.

The importance of maintaining moisture in summer is much higher than in other seasons. Because during this time, our body sweats more than usual. Not only water, but also the necessary salts and minerals in our body are lost through sweat. As a result, the body becomes weak, dizzy, the skin becomes dry and even life-threatening problems like heatstroke can occur.

How much water do you try to drink daily in the summer? Do you follow any routine?.

Personally, I try to drink at least 3 liters of water a day in the summer. I follow a routine that ensures I drink enough water throughout the day. I drink a glass of water after waking up in the morning and after praying.

Then I drink water before and after every meal and drink fruit juice or soft water in the afternoon. I always carry a water bottle with me when I go out. This is very beneficial for me.

How dehydration affects our body? And how to overcome that situation?

My favorite hydrating foods in this summer are bananas and watermelon. Watermelon contains more than 90% water and is cool and delicious. Apart from this, I also regularly consume cucumber, coconut water, ghee, lemon water and ORS (ORS) drinks.

However, it is more important to consume lemon juice most of the day. Although we have enough lemons at home, I consume lemon juice several times a day. These not only replenish the water deficit but also provide the body with necessary electrolytes.

How dehydration affects our body? And how to overcome that situation?

Dehydration reduces the body's energy, worsens the mood and weakens the immune system. I myself sometimes get angry but I understand later. If it is prolonged, kidney problems can also occur. To avoid this problem, we should drink water regularly, eat light and liquid foods and avoid the sun. If you go out for work, use an umbrella or cap and wear light-colored cotton clothes.

Finally I would like to say that keeping the body hydrated is the most important thing to enjoy summer. Not only for your own health but also for every member of the family. Everyone should understand the importance of water in this terrible summer heat and develop a conscious habit of staying hydrated.

Finally I am Inviting my lovely Steemian friends @karianaporras, @chant, @alejos7ven, @jyoti-thelight, @mikitaly, @adriancabrera, @anailuj1992 to Participate in this Contest.

Yes, the summer season is currently underway in Pakistan and the temperature in Pakistan is around 45 degrees and even above that in some areas. You are right that we should drink more water in summer because a lot of water and salts are lost through sweat. Therefore, we should drink as much water as possible. I am happy to know that you drink water after praying and try to drink about three liters of water a day. I drink about two to three liters of water. In summer, we should eat as many juicy fruits as possible that keep our body hydrated. For example, we should eat watermelon, which contains about 92% water, which keeps our body hydrated. A part from this, we should also eat peaches, which contain 89% water. Cucumbers also contain a lot of water and we should eat them. I eat them too. I drink lemon water. In Pakistan, it is called Shikanji. Due to lack of water, we can get headaches, fatigue, muscle pain and some other diseases, so we should drink more water and keep the body hydrated in summer.

Best of luck to you 🥰

Hi @max-pro, ensuring that you drink at least three to four liter of water per day is a good routine and I applaud you for that. It is really essential to consume water in order to maintain a good body temperature that is between the range of 36 to 37° c. Dehydration to me is the opposite of hydration that leads to the disrupt of functioning in kidney, causing back pain and lack of agility in performing daily activities, I suggest that everyone should master their body system to know when to consume water to stay completely hydrated to maintain their health. Coconut water and cucumber as well as lemon are good sources of hydratives which enable the body to work well through it provision of vitamin and bone building materials. You have a masterclass article right here, I would like to say a job well done.

Sincerely @chiagoziee.
