Obesity can be defined as when an individual has excessive body fat that affects their overall well-being. This health problem is common worldwide and, in fact, it affects both young and old people in a given community. Too much consumption of fatty foods can lead to an increase in size, which will eventually affect our quality of life.
Drug intake sometimes results in obesity for people who are managing their health conditions such as diabetes. Obesity is a chronic health condition that contribute negatively to the people who don't practice healthy lifestyle.
• Obesity can also affect us as a result of fat deposits around our neck, which can make breathing difficult whenever you want to sleep at night. Sometimes it may pause for a short time, particularly for people with sleep apnea.
• Excessive fat in our liver can damage such an important organ through our eating pattern. It can also affect our digestive system in so many ways, which sometimes contribute negatively by raising the risk of gallstones and other health problems.
• It can also affect our psychological wellbeing because obese people are likely to experience different kinds of mental illnesses, such as eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.
• Being overweight affects our muscular system; our muscles will not function properly to the extent that we may not be able to move from one place to another. That's why some older people have joint problems later in life.
As a human being, the things you must do to get rid of abnormal body fat are discussed below:
• Exercise: Individuals with obesity need to exercise for at least 30 minutes on a daily basis. This can help them to be physically fit. Walking from one street to another helps burn calories in order to live a healthier lifestyle.
• Consult with a social worker: They can help us address the challenges in our behavior patterns, especially regarding our eating habits. Social collaboration with other experts will begin treatment about what you need to eat and how to monitor the consumption of any food so that it doesn't build up too much fat.
• Limit certain foods: Eliminate certain foods that will affect our wellness. Carbohydrates are good, but too much intake can lead to obesity. Sugar consumption is not good for the body; in fact, it's an easy way to consume more calories. Stay away from it because it can harm our lives.
• Eating fruits and vegetables: These contain a high amount of nutrients that are good for the body. In fact, they can help us achieve our goals and objectives. Consuming less fatty food can reduce the hunger we may experience.
