Jamia Masjid Shah Yakka

Assalam O Alaikum

Jamia Masjid is located in the heart of my village named as the Shah Yakka village. It is considered as the main mosque of the village and known as the Jamia Masjid. It was built in 19th century and the last renovation was done in 2019. Now again, its condition is quite dull and again renovation on some of its parts is required.

_{Main Door}

Above is the main door of the mosque and you can see its condition is quite poor as the paint has almost come off the walls which isn't looking good. Anyway, there are two minarets on the main door, one bulb for light and the due to enter the mosque has been written in the middle of the door.

_Toilets

After entering, inside the mosque, on the right side of it the facility Of toilets are available. They are five in numbers and their condition is almost fair. From outside they aren't looking good but from inside they are clean and tidy.

_{Place for ablution, geyser and water cooler}

Above is the special place where the people perform their ablution before doing any religious activity like saying prayers, reciting the Holy Quran or any other thing. Also in the area of ablution, the geyser and water cooler are kept. Geyser is used to provide hot water during winter season while the water cooler provides clean and cold drinking water.

It is the courtyard of the Mosque which is quite vast and have an ability to provide space to a large number of people. It has three doors which leads towards the main hall of fame mosque and on the roof of main hall, four minarets of different sizes are built. These minarets are painted in different colours. The fans are also installed on the courtyard.

It is the interior of main hall of the mosque which is quite beautiful as neat and clean carpets are kept, fans are installed and the area is vacant and tidy. On the walls, the banners printed with different colours, with the pictures of Makkah and Madinah are present. The mauddin's area is decorated with white marble and ayat ut Kursi is written on it.

_{Prayer Clock, prayer caps and chair for handicap}

Above is the prayer clock which is present on the wall, it is a special clock which have to Prayers timings and its alarm rings when the time of prayer arrives. Also, the green coloured caps and special chairs are present for handicap and for the people who can't stand while praying.

_{Almirah door, microphone, speakers and stands for Quran Kareem}

That is the door of an Almirah in which the special equipments are kept. Also the Holy Quran and other reading books are kept inside the Almirah to keep them safe from dust and dirt. The microphone is used by the mauddin for adhan and for other announcements. These are the special stands on which the Holy Quran are kept while reading.

_{Store room and charity Box}

It is the store room and a charity box. In the store room, the extra things like carpets, chairs and other things are kept while the charity box is used to keep the charity funds which people put inside of it. The funds collected through the charity box is used on the renovation of mosque and other essential things are bought through the charity funds. It remains under the supervision of Imam of the mosque.
