My Experience with Neighbours.

Let’s talk about neighbors and memorable experiences. Well. I have had the good and the bad when it comes to neighbors but because I am an agent of good news. Lemme share the good experience .

Describe one memorable experience you have had with a neighbour. Was the experience positive or negative?

Some neighbors are angels in disguise while some can be somewhat mysterious. Well, I have had my fair share of neighbors experience. Both the good and the bad.

The one that stood out for me and is quite memorable was one that happened two years ago. Well, I had just moved into this new environment and have stayed for some months.

I had this neighbor we got talking and she was a very excited and jovial person to relate with. We got fascinated with each other and would always share our days experiences sometimes.

One of those days we got talking and before you know it, I started pouring out some difficulties I was facing with her. We talked for long. It felt so good to just have a shoulder to lean on.

One of the things I shared with her was the financial difficulties I was facing at that moment. That period it was so bad that I didn’t even have a dime with me.

I was close to tears while talking with her and you could just see the compassion in her voice and eyes. I wasn’t expecting anything from her really. I was just glad after talking to her that I could just have someone to talk to.

She didn’t stop at just listening and sympathizing, she gave me some money. I was so elated that I can’t forget that gesture in a hurry. It was an unexpected show of love from a neighbor. One that left a great impression in my heart.

What lesson did you learn from that experience?

The lesson I learnt from that experience is how our little actions can make a whole of difference to someone. Little actions of kindness can make a positive lasting impressions in people’s life as well as negative actions no matter how little.

There are some persons that have been mean to me as neighbors. I simply avoid them while there are some persons I vibe with all because of their attitude towards me.

So I learnt to also show compassion to people even in the littlest way I can. If the little gesture my neighbor showed me made that huge difference that I haven’t forgotten, so it means that my little acts of kindness can also make a difference.

I learnt that people can be going through a lot so I should be careful how I deal with people. And also try to help out the little way I can.

What qualities make a good neighbour in your opinion?

There are many things that makes up a good neighbor in my opinion and some of them includes;

Being approachable for starters. Some persons are so mean faced that you would not even have the courage to go and greet them as your neighbor.

Some do not respond to greetings. Story of my life. Some of my neighbors are snubs. They won’t greet you and when you greet, they won’t answer. I am always puzzled why some persons behave like that.

For starters, I think it’s a sign of pride and immaturity to snub people. Greeting won’t do any one bad and actually helps to establish cordiality between neighbors.

A good neighbor should be empathic. I don’t mean that they should be busy bodies but on interaction with others, they should be sensitive enough to know when their neighbor is having a hard time.

This can be noticed through their facial look. In the Bible even Joseph in prison noticed the sad countenance of his fellow prisoners. He was a good neighbor.

A good neighbor should know boundaries even when they are being cordial. People do not like their spaces being invaded without noticed. Do not always go to others houses uninvited and do not poke nose into your neighbors affairs uninvited.

Yes o. Neighbors come in very handy in some situations. For example in mine that I shared.

Neighbors can serve as companions especially when they are good ones. They can serve as our back eyes to.

Imagine living all alone in a neighborhood. You could be so bored and have no one to greet or talk to sometimes. Having people around curbs that feeling of loneliness for no man is an island.

Neighbors helps us to familiarize with the our environment especially when we move into a new apartment and also settle in easily and feel at home.

Neighbors can be good or bad. It feels better when we have the good ones so we should always pray for good neighbors.
