✅ What is married life?

Marriage, in the first place, is the coming together or the union between a man and a woman as husband and wife. Therefore, marital life is a life that begins the very first day a man and a woman are joined together as husband and wife. It is a lifetime journey unless separated by death or divorce. Marital life can be like a school because the very day this couple are joined together, they start learning. Most importantly, they learn to stay together and build their future together. In marital life, the parties involved must maintain a balance of emotional intimacy, trust, respect, commitment and so on to have it sustained.

✅ How did you dress up on your wedding day?

I got married on 10th December 2016, according to the Christian rite. On this day, I dressed in a white suit, a white inner shirt, black trousers and black shoes. I also put on a golden colour tie.

✅ How will husband and wife recognize and understand each other on the wedding day?

Before the wedding day, the man and woman are expected to have gone through courtship. In this period of courtship, they study each other in various ways. All traditional rites are supposed to have been fulfilled.
On the wedding day, the woman dressed in white apparel called a wedding gown with a net fixed on her head to cover her face. This dress alone shows that she is the bride because such dresses are worn only by women on their wedding day. Similarly, The husband dresses smartly and corporately in a suit alongside his friends. Lastly, the husband and wife are given a special seat getting them set for the marriage rite.

✅ What is the responsibility of a wife to her husband after marriage?

What is expected of a wife after marriage is to first submit herself to the leadership of her husband who is the head of the family. She is also expected to respect him and show him love and care by cooking meals and doing some of the house chores. Again, she provides moral and physical support to her husband where necessary to keep the family healthy. Lastly, she nurtures their children and makes the home habitable.

✅ Have you ever traveled anywhere after your marriage? Tell me briefly.

Yes, we travelled to a lot of places after our wedding. Some of these places are special and some are not. The first place we travelled together was Abuja to see my wife's parent and thank them for their support before and during our wedding. One other place we travelled together, which I want to mention, is Kini Country Guess Inn Akwanga to honour a wedding invitation. It was a beautiful experience for me as it was our first official outing as husband and wife.

Conclusion
