Between Wounds and Wisdom

Love is something beautiful, but it can also be a painful lesson. In my life, I have experienced and witnessed a love story that is full of happiness, but also leaves wounds. One of the most memorable stories for me is the experience of a close friend who experienced such deep love, but ended in disappointment.

Rina is my friend, she is so in love and loves Andi to the extreme. Rina is a loyal figure, always trying to give her best, even willing to sacrifice for Andi's happiness. Unfortunately, love does not always go as expected.

At one point, Rina began to feel something different in their relationship. Andi, who used to be always attentive, slowly began to move away. Initially, Rina thought it was just work pressure or personal problems. However, over time, the changes became more apparent. Andi began to avoid meetings, rarely replied to messages, and became increasingly difficult to contact.

The peak was when Rina finally found out that Andi had been in a relationship with someone else for the past few months. They have always had their backs, dating years ago. What was even more painful was that Andi showed no guilt and instead easily left Rina without a long explanation.

I saw how Rina went through difficult days, trying to heal her heartache. At first, she felt hopeless, lost faith in love, and even blamed herself.The depth to which Rina was hurt by this betrayal. She was let down by one person she loved completely.

But over time she started to get back up. Not all love brings happiness but it doesn't mean she stopped caring, or love - closing herself up for the 2nd time

From Rina's experience, I learned that true love must come from two directions. No relationship can survive if only one party is fighting. I discovered that losing someone who does not love us back is merely the first step in possibility of finding better love.

The lesson I gained from this is just that much more appreciation in love and relationships. I think I became more discerning about people, I learned that love isn't just about emotions but it is also between two people respecting each other and wanting what is best.

Love shows me, Rina's story was that love can even let u down but never make me afraid for love again. Love yourself first before you can love others.
