Agriculture is one of the major occupations in Africa; in fact, it contributes meaningfully to our economic development, as countries use the income generated from agricultural sources to develop their states. In Africa, especially in Nigeria, we make use of a labor force, but in today's world, technology is one of the fastest means to save us time as well as resources so that farmers can achieve an increase in farm production.

Adopting these modern means of technology will also allow countries to have the highest GDP, so they can use the money generated to manage the affairs of their countries. Technology facilitates data collection as well as analysis of our farms. These technologies or devices can be used to monitor or control weeds and some pests that will not allow our plants to grow perfectly.

The adoption of this modern technology will help farmers to make a profit from their farm products by ensuring the highest productivity. Another advantage of technology is that it helps farmers manage their livestock in order to improve their wellbeing.

Technology, as a good device, also helps farmers who are based in rearing livestock by monitoring their nutritional feed and controlling all the activities on the farm. The use of drones helps farmers to know the status and condition of the farm. This is mostly known through the updates provided to us by the technology.

Another advantage of farming is plant irrigation, which enables farmers to increase food production for the masses, as well as the use of cool storage, which is one of the modern means of farming. By doing this, farmers can transport the fresh products they have harvested to the market in order to sell.
