"The tiger cub weighed four times less than normal." How an animal was rescued from a traveling circus and what came out of it

Of all the entertainment organizations that use wild animals, circuses often treat animals the worst. Some often don't have suitable enclosures, are kept in appalling conditions and are underfed.

This is how tigress Asha lived before she was taken away from the circus.

At the age of 9 months, the tiger cub weighed no more than 13 kg, although the baby should have weighed 4 times as much. Almost all of the animal's fur had shaved off, and the skin was covered with ulcers.

Asha was in such a state due to lack of food and the cramped enclosure where she lived with an adult tiger. The unfortunate tigress was constantly hungry and did not see affection, care and love. She turned into a shaking and fearful slaughtered animal.

Employees of the Center for Rescue of Wild and Exotic Animals managed to rescue animals from a stray circus. All the animals were distributed to specialized parks, where the necessary conditions were created for them.

And the tiger cub, which was in extremely poor condition, was closely monitored by veterinarians of the organization. For the next few months, Asha was fed, treated and socialized.

It took the doctors two whole months before the tigress just started to recover and get better. Her skin was covered with thick, beautiful fur and her ulcers disappeared.

The therapeutic baths helped the wild cat to regain her characteristic tiger color, which she liked very much.

Now she likes to have fun lying in a container of water. Asha has learned to play, has her own toys and is no longer afraid all the time.

When the treatment and socialization process was successfully completed, a suitable partner was found for the tigress. The beautiful tiger named Smuggler adores his mate and does not leave her for a minute.

A little sick tiger cub has turned into a healthy and happy tigress. Asha already has a family of her own and still loves spending time in the water.

Sometimes she adds her own fruit and berries to the water, which the workers give her.

Asha hopes that one day people will love and appreciate their planet and all its inhabitants.
