"World Cup, The place where heroes are born"

It has been said that records are set to be broken, but there are some records in the history of cricket that we still have doubts about whether anyone can break. Today I am going to talk about such kind of a record which looks impossible to break.

Yuvraj Singh

The kid's who's born in the 90's and love cricket, almost all of them very familiar with the year 2007. It was a year of two historical world cup. The 9th edition of ICC 2007 ODI and The first historical T20 world cup take place in that year.

The 2007 ODI World Cup was a nightmare for India. After losing against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, India was out of the tournament in the group stage. As a result: the departure of the coach, the internal infighting, the reshuffle of the captaincy, all in all, seemed to ignite a fire of anger in Indian cricket.

However to make all these things cool, the smallest version of cricket, the T20 World Cup has raised in that year. At first, India was not sure about joining the world cup but in the end, they become the champion.

Some moments of ICC 2007 T20 WC

The aspiration with which T20 cricket began, all of them was in the first edition. India-Pakistan two nail-biting thrilling matches, four-six stroke play, spectators, money jingles, all in all, seemed to be a great advertisement of rising a new era of world Cricket. But all the limelight has been taken by one man, Yuvraj Singh.

In the first T20 World Cup in 2007, India's devastating left-arm batsman Yuvraj Singh had played incredible innings. And the unfortunate bowler was Stuart Broad from England. Yuvraj hit six sixes in a Stuart Broad's over at the Kingsmead in Durban, South Africa on 19 September will not only be remembered in the history of cricket but also it's been written in the record book of cricket for scoring the half-century at least balls. That record of fifty in just 12 balls still be the fastest in the history of Cricket.

Yuvraj Singh hitting Six sixs in six balls

It was a second-round group stage match. India was playing against England. After winning the toss India opted to bat first. India was batting very well and it seemed that India's scoreboard was going to throw a big total.

In the previous over, Flintoff sledged Yuvraj, which led to a quarrel between the two. In the next over Stuart Broad came to bowl and Youraj hit the first ball is out of the field over the mid-wicket.

The same fate befell the second ball, this time it was through the backward square leg. The distance is more, 111 yards.

The third ball also flew across the boundary of the field, over the extra cover.

Three six's in three bowls! Broad was become too nervous and gave full-toss in the fourth ball and it's Six again.

Every one of the England team gathered around Broad. The meeting lasted for a while. Then again Broad took the ball. But nothing came of it. This time, it was over mid-wicket for Six.

Number six-ball of that over was conceded six over the mid-on.

Yuvraj Singh

History was written with the bat of Yuvraj Singh. Six 6 in a single over. Not only because of six sixes in one over but also because of Yuvraj's remarkable innings has become memorable in the history of cricket. In that match, Yuvraj set the record of hitting a half-century in the least number of deliveries in T20 and international cricket. He had completed his fifty runs in just 12 deliveries which is still the fastest Half-century in the history of any format of cricket.

Why The record is seemed to be unbreakable

So far, only four cricketers, including first-class and international cricket, have hit six sixes in an over. But Yuvraj Singh was the only batsman who held the record of hitting six sixes in an over and scored the fastest half-century in the same international T20 cricket match.
