I question everything that I know now especially if it is something that I have learned by Media Sources (eg TV). You are aware how magicians do their magic. They use misdirection. While you look at one hand, they perform their magic with the other.
While we are focused on CO2 in the atmosphere, we are ignoring that we are going through a magnetic pole excursion. I have discussed in an earlier article about LLSVP
As the image rotates, you can see that core material is being ejected into the mantle. One consequence of this material is that it causes the Earth to wobble.
My concern is that this wobble is not a continual motion but periodic "jerks" possibly heralded by magnetic excursions.
Couple this with Lunar tides, the bulge of water at the equator could make certain areas "damp". I think that the current tilt that your area might take would be similar to this:
This is only a representation but the areas to the right could expect sea level rise.
