Kamchatka Eruption | Russian Karymsky volcano spews out 5 km column of ash
The Karymsky volcano in Russia's far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula spat out a five-kilometer (3 mile) ash cloud. The activity at the volcano has been increasing during the past few days, characterized by explosive eruptions. According to the KVERT, the plume of smoke spread up to 40 kilometers to the southeast of the volcano
