The Desplantà of Fallas 2020 Due To The CoVID-19 Virus - Escif Fallas Figure Valencia - Postponed!

And then Fallas has been postponed! This is not the first time Fallas has been cancelled but I'm not sure if this is maybe is the first Desplanta! Normally these figures, once placed in plazas and squares, are getting burned. But to the postponed Fallas due to the CoVID-19 virus this might have been the first time that some of the Fallas Figures have been dismantled again and being stored. So instead of La Plantà the first Desplantà!

The new Fallas date is set to be either held in the summer or in the fall. But to be honest, right now I have zero hopes that there will be any Fallas Festival this year. But let's see!

After the night they stopped Fallas (which was already in full swing), Escif, the famed Valencian Street artist placed this facial mask on his figure.
