I Wish You Knew...
I wish you knew,
that the girl you left to drown
has grown to be a mermaid.
The beggar you refused to help,
has become the robber in society.
The orphan you didn't care for,
has grown to disrupt the peace of the society,
the help you refused to offer,
when coercion was absent,
is the help you now offer with fear and trembling.
The stomach you refused to feed,
has become the rat in your food store,
eating and drinking to stupor,
at the expense of your budget,
yet you know not.
Make hay while the sun shines,
help that orphan, feed the hungry,
together, let's drive societal crimes afar,
let's build a crime-free and just society.
I wish you know that those you refuse to help,
will torment you in the future.

I choose to help those who are in need inorder to save my self and society from the grave crimes. If all of us would play our part by rendering good to whoever needs it. That would bring a great healing to the world and make it a better place.

If one have the privilege to help anybody its better they do because ignoring them won’t only make them to think of surviving through bad ways but that act of unkindness that one display now could affect them in the future. No one knows tomorrow.

Absolutely! No one knows tomorrow. Humans have the tendency of focusing so much on the present that they ignore the fact that within a twinkle of an eye, a lot can change and also forgetting that every little bit helps.
