Lahore (Urdu Point Latest Newspaper. May 13, 2022) Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) marquee event, Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been entertaining cricket fans since its inception in 2016. The seventh edition of PSL has made a profit of more than Rs 2 billion, out of which five franchises will get good financial benefits. However, in the fifth edition of PSL, the cricket board lost Rs 700 million.

The teams participating in the 5th and 6th editions of the event were given concessions due to Covid-19.

The cricket board will remit the PSL expenses to the franchisees next week as the fifth and sixth editions were delayed due to the virus. The PCB currently has reserves of Rs 15 billion, up from Rs 12 billion in the previous financial year. Meanwhile, the PCB's proposal to hold a four-nation tournament has not been rejected and is still on the table.

The series will be considered at the International Cricket Council's (ICC) annual meeting in Birmingham.
