My Actifit Report Card: November 25 2022

What a day! Hole one on the disc golf course for my final singles tournament of the year and it was raining and blowing like crazy. I made a short safe forehand drive and played for a bogey. With the kind of wind we were experiencing, playing for par with a hard backhand drive would have probably gone out-of-bounds and resulted in a double.

My new friction gloves worked wonderfully. My hands were still a bit cold from the wind and rain but they were a lot warmer than they would have been without the gloves. It seemed like the gloves were giving me a bit better grip on the wet discs than I usually get in these types of conditions. They were a lot better than the old gloves that I really can't use when throwing and need to constantly take off.

It rained the entire round but cleared up a bit when we were playing the second pitch and putt round.

I managed to score a +7 in the first round and a +1 in the second one. This placed me in second place in my division with only one point away from the division winner. I ended up with a nice amount of scrip. Considering the conditions I was very happy with the result and ended up playing a round rating higher than my rating.
