My Actifit Report Card: October 28 2020
I went out to the disc golf course this morning to look for my lost Sword disc. I could not find it but managed to find a different disc. There was no name on it so I tossed it around to test it out. It is a Whippet disc with a speed 6, glide 3, turn 1 and fade 5.
It flew very overstable and worked pretty well on a forehand throw. I managed to birdie hole thirteen with it. I'm not sure if I will keep it in my bag or not. It is pretty similar to the Instinct disc that I bag. I don't like the black color very much. It is kind of hard to find a black disc in the woods when the lighting is dim. The Instinct disc is a nice bright greenish yellow and flies just a bit less stable than the Whippet. Its flight numbers are: Speed 7, Glide 5, Turn 0 and Fade 2.
The Whippet is a nice find though and is made with premium Star plastic. I'm not even sure you can get a Whippet disc made in this plastic now. I like low glide discs for throwing under tree branches so it might stay in the bag.
Most of my steps were from practicing on the disc golf course. I was not playing with anyone and didn't bother to keep score this time. I spent a lot of time looking around for my disc.
On the way back I passed another bicycle rider going up a hill. I think he was pretty impressed and said something like, "That's too easy."
I just waved and kept riding. I sure enjoy the e-bike and I think you still get a workout on it although you go faster. It helps that you don't have to stress your legs out so much going up hills and you can easily carry a full pack of discs and other equipment for disc golf.
Looking out at the river it was pretty cloudy this morning on the disc golf course:
Somewhere on the riverbank on the right side of the picture or perhaps in the water lies my lost Sword disc:
This beautiful red tree caught my eye on the e-bike ride back:
There was a nice red/orange sunset this evening:
