Actifit: Management workshop
Yesterday and today I spent in a management workshop. We worked on the company's budget for 2021. While the workshop itself was very productive the real benefit lied in the breaks. It's good ro get together with the other department heads from time to time whom you usually do not have time to speak to. It really helps to align everybody's goals when you physically get together without the daily business getting in the way.
Of course, from a corona standpoint the event was somewhat dubious. We adhered to all rules but since there was so much discussion going on across all departments in the end everybody set at a table with everybody. And you don't wear masks at the tables, only when moving around.
So let's just hope that not the entire management ends up in quarantine next week. It'd only take one positive case after all.
After two days of sitting, I had to go collect some steps this evening. So, I grabbed my daughter and we went foe a thirty minute stroller wall before her bedtime. I might have picked up pizza on the way.
