Case history: A patient with right leg cut injury || IAAC #21 || Actifit report and a automaticwin||

in Actifit3 years ago

Hi, there! How are you? How is everything going on around you? Hope that everything is happening according to your plan and expectation. I am also fine, Alhamdulillah. This is my 21st #iamalivechallenge post, the project run by @flaxz. This is also going to be my today's @actifit report.
At first, I am going to share a case history of a patient with a big cut injury in his right leg. Following that, I will mention why I am grateful for today. And finally, I am going to share the proof of today's automaticwin. Hope that you will stay with me until the end of the post.

Case history

Today evening one Bangladeshi patient came with a clothes' bandage (bandage made with old clothes) in his right leg. He sustained a cut injury with a sharp metal around half an hour earlier. He put a tight bandage over the injured site and rushed to our clinic.

I immediately put him in the procedure room. After removing his home-made bandage, I found a big cut injury in his right leg (outer aspect). It was around 6 inches long, however, it wasn't that much deep. The muscle wasn't exposed, i.e. the skin and subcutaneous fat were cut only. The bleeding was also not heavy; there was mild oozing of blood.

I told him that I need to stitch the wound. At first, he refused to do suturing, out of fear of pain. I explained that without the stitches, there would be a big gap in his skin. I also explained that I would numb the area with local anaesthetics so that you wouldn't feel pain. Then he agreed to undergo the procedure.

I closed his wound with 7 interrupted sutures. Then we put a sterile bandage over it. I added some medications. Then he left.

Why am I grateful for today?

I am grateful to my creator that I am alive today.

I am grateful to Allah because I can't remember when was the last time I got a cut injury. I have never got an injury where it needed to be stitched up.

I am grateful to my Lord because He made me a doctor.

Alhamdulillah!

Here is the proof of an automaticwin. It is a project run by @wil.metcalfe and @adventureready.
