Superior number of players, MU has led 4 goals in the first half. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford, Jan Bednarek's own goal, and Edinson Cavani which broke into Soton's goal.

MU sits in the first position of the Premier League standings with the same figures as Manchester City, 44 points. The difference is, The Citizens still have 2 matches.

MU manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, said that it is always fun for a team to celebrate goals in one game.

"We share the goals among the players. When the game starts in that way it's always about whether you can score the first goal because we've seen lots of examples of 10 defenders and got a draw," Solskjaer told the BBC.

"We've been waiting for them to show magic and it's a night for them to play and enjoy it. We don't have much time where we can just enjoy the second half."

"You add confidence from a performance like this, scoring a lot of goals is always good for the team," added the substitute Jose Mourinho at MU.
