Solskjaer does not want Man United to fall asleep at the top of the standings

Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, does not want his focus to be distracted and complacent because of their success in topping the 2020-2021 Premier League standings. He admitted that he only wanted every match that Man United had to run well.

Entering the 19th week, Man United is still firmly at the top of the standings with a collection of 40 points. In the last match, Harry Maguire and his friends successfully won the match against Fulham with a thin score of 2-1.

Seeing this, Solskjaer is happy that Man United can finally be at the top of the standings. However, he also didn't want to be complacent and in the end was too busy to think about the top position in the standings.

"It will always be talked about when we are halfway through and you are at the top of the league, but we don't really think about this," said Solskjaer, quoting from Man United's official website, Thursday (21/1/2021).

"We've just had one game at a time and keep everyone healthy and fresh and seeing where we are," he added.

Commenting on the match against Fulham, Solskjaer also praised his players. He considered that his players continued to show improvement both physically and mentally.
