Our Way Of The Cross

Hi everyone! in every lenten season our church is celebrating the holy week to remember the death of Jesus Christ. In every group of the Church they have a schedule for 'Visita Iglesia' that means visiting a church and a way of the cross to comemorate His death. We visited the Discovery Hills to do our Way of the cross.

From our home we travel for almost an hour to reach Consolacion Cebu where the Discovery Hills located. I was with the group where i belong the Handmaid of the Lord.

When we arrive in the place we climbed to the mountain to start our meditation, the booth of every stations located not too closed to the next station so we started in the first station and ended in the fourteenth station.

In every station there is a picture of Jesus Christ in His sacrificed by carrying of the cross, we say a prayer and meditate then proceed to another station, it is our way of sharing the sacrifices of Jesus during His time of suffering.

It was a sunny afternoon and the heat of the sun affect us that made us feeling tired and thirsty. So when we finished we went down to the entrance taking rest and while the cool breeze from the mountain strike on us it made us feeling good again.
