Hello ladies,
Today I’m going to share with you about my favourite places in my home town. As I have indicated in My Achievement 1 post, I was born and raised in a beautiful country in the world “SriLanka”. My home town is Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, Colombo. I have visited many places in and around Colombo and there are many interesting places. Among them I will talk about my most favourite 5 places in Colombo.
01) Colombo City Center
Colombo city center is a place where there is an exhibition hall in the ground floor and also other shops in the other floors. I have gone to CCC several times to visit exhibitions. Sometimes university conferences are also held in this mall. CCC is used for many administrative purposes such as press conferences, social gatherings etc…
02) BMICH

Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall by the name it says that it is a conference hall. Annual extreme scale Exhibitions and conferences are held in BMICH. Graduation Ceremonies, Annual book exhibitions, Exhibitions of Manufacture and Technology are held in this BMICH. This was constructed by The World First Female President “Mrs. Bandaranayake who was a former president of SriLanka”.
03) Water’s Edge Lake View park

Water’s Edge Park is a newly constructed lake view park. There is a weekend market in the park as well. Mornings and evenings are really crowded. As there is a jogging track many people come and spend time doing exercises. There is an area for children to play. The lake view is really attractive. The park consists of many aquatic plants and animals and educational valuable too.
04) KFC Kotte Branch
KFC is a very popular restaurant in many countries. There is even a single branch in every city in SriLanka. People buy KFC chicken buckets and by now KFC has many food and drink varieties. Comparatively KFC meals are expensive than other restaurants in the city. KFC is very famous to have family gatherings as well. But from healthy range KFC meals are in a very low rating.
05) SriLanka Airforce Museum Rathmalana

SriLanka Air force Museum is a very famous place in our country. We can see many old Aircrafts and their technologies if we visit there. The museum consists of a very attractive environment. It is located in a very large land area. There is a museum shop and a canteen where we can buy different things made by SLAF soldiers. We can get into aircrafts to get the full experience. I have visited only twice in my life but I hope to have more visits there.
