NEW CONTEST 2021 - WEEK IV (Insect Macrophotography) | Moth, an insect that resembles a butterfly
A moth hiding in the grass
Moth is an insect that is closely related to butterflies, both of which belong to the Lepidoptera group. Most moth species are nocturnal, although some are active on the sword and in the morning.
Maybe some people think that this moth is a butterfly. Indeed, physically they are almost the same. They have almost no difference in feathers and two wings.
However, in size the two have differences. Moths are smaller than butterflies. It's like the moth I found today, because of its small size and it's so wild I was overwhelmed when I took the photo.
You can see in the photos I got, how the position of the moths are clever to hide under the grass. Its small size we don't even know about its presence on the sidelines of the grass.
I found him when my feet almost stepped on him, and of course he flew and I chased him. It took me several times to follow him, then I can get the photo.
Are you curious about this butterfly-like creature? Let's take a look at the photos below :)
