A day of walking and shopping in Venezuela

After the quarantine began, he had not gone out for a walk in any shopping center.

My favorite shopping center is located in Maracay, Aragua state. I like it very much because of its wide aisles and clean facilities.

Después que se inició la cuarentena no había salido a pasear a ningún centro comercial.

Mi centro comercial favorito esta ubicado en Maracay estado Aragua, me gusta mucho por lo amplio de sus pasillos y por lo limpio de sus instalaciones.

Here there is a variety of stores, the official currency of Venezuela is the bolivar but due to hyperinflation and the fact that the local currency has no value now, they show the price of the items for sale with the dollar symbol, the official currency of the USA and has that high price all those who live in Venezuela have to pay.

Aquí hay variedad de tiendas, la moneda oficial de Venezuela es el bolivar pero debido a la hiperinflacion y que la moneda local no tenga valor ahora muestran el precio de los artículos en venta con el símbolo de dólar, moneda oficial de EEUU y ha ese elevado precio todos los que vivan en Venezuela tienen que pagar.

My shopping for the day

One of the most important items are the flip-flops as they are known here, they are sandals for daily use at home.

I went to one of the most popular stores in the population, and I bought these sandals at a price of $5.

Una de los artículos de primera necesidad son las chancletas como se les conoce aquí, son sandalias para el uso diario en el hogar.

Acudí a una de las tiendas de mayor popularidad entre la población, y me compré estas sandalias a un precio de 5 dólares.

It is worth noting that the monthly salary granted by the government is $4, which means that you need to work a whole month without eating, spending on tickets, or basic necessities in order to buy a few simple flip-flops.

The only explanation I can give you about how the population subsists in my country is that we do it thanks to the Mercy of God.

Cabe destacar que el salario mensual otorgado por el gobierno es de 4 dólares, es decir que se necesita trabajar un mes entero sin comer, ni gastar en pasaje, ni productos de primera necesidad para poder comprar unas simples chancletas.

La única explicación que les puedo dar sobre cómo la población subsiste en mi país, es que lo hacemos gracias a la Misericordia de Dios.
