Greetings and Peace be Upon you.
Today I bought a charcoal pencil so I decided to test it in a new drawing of a greek-style statue.
The blending was very decent and smooth and it is perfect for darker spots.

STEP 1

I sketch out the face with a thin-lead pencil (it lookks different because I didn't fully copy the reference)

STEP 2

I follow the shading in the reference for the shading in the drawing, first I make rough strokes and smoothen it with a tissue.

STEP 3

I darken the area around the drawing to make the light areas in the drawing stand out more and add rough detail to the hair.

STEP 4

I add shading on the neck, and blend the rough strokes on the hair.

STEP 5

I add other details and the finished product is;
