I was monday, the sun was shining and a man had some free time he said and went to a park near his flat like always.
But the next minutes of this good looking man will change his life!
"There was a noise and it was just next to me. When i looked to my right i couldnt believe my eyes!"
A giant squirrel was hiding behind the bushes. "The animal was like 2.5 Meters" said the muscled and unbelievable handsome man and it was not really scared. "I think he was just looking for some nuts".

Relax lovely Steemians, its not from the news, this is just a little mural i did yesterday!
This is a spot i wanted to paint since i m in this city. Its a garage of a house around the corner where i live.
But i wanted to paint this spot because this side is looking inside the park and there is a lot of nature. Sometimes i tried to knock the door or contact the owner but i had no luck.
One day i found a business number on the car and wrote a message. No answer for weeks.
One day i just tried again and we started texting. She did not exactly know what i want to do and how much she have to pay for it :D
I told her it is just an interesting wall for me to paint and she dont have to do anything. She was okay with it and she liked my idea to paint a big squirrel.
Thats pretty cool, because i always wanted to paint a squirrel and never did it and now i found this cool spot to realize my "little dream"
Always was kind of scared to paint all this fur. Animals generally and special with fur. I never did this but always wanted to try it.
Now its not that cuddly and full with hair details but i like my first squirrel and the result. Also the wall is so uneven, it kind of makes his own special effect.

At first i started a concept with floating islands in the universe and more trees with wooden houses, neon, ...
She liked both ideas and i decided to paint my squirrel (love this little rascals <3 )and the spot is super cool for something like this, made a concept then with the wall full painted because at the beginning it was an argument of me to paint there because it is already painted and i will make a full artwork for a nice wall.
I just said some days later by the way " i would love to paint it with the graffiti in the background for this kind of natural, special style" and she said "thats your project, do what ever you want to do".
.....and now at this second i write this i think it was maybe not the best idea to cover people i dont know and just cover the half, not ever their whole work :O ... i will think about this and maybe change something at this wall before someone is maybe mad with me :/
Anyways, this is the wall i was interested to paint and here we start the tutorial now.
I packed my stuff and started with the proportions. I knew i have to paint my part first or the wall will just eat all the spraypaint. Its like sand.
All right, most times i go from dark to bright colors. Black first.

At this time the owner of the house and this garage was coming home and she came to the park side. This was to first time we met in person.
She was so happy with the result, she was like "so cute, i m so happy, yeah, a squirrel, it looks so cute, thank you. Are you finish?" full with smile.
At this time i was like an hour there, just started, was kind of nervous to try this fur and if everything will look cool, ...
After we talked a little bit i continued and started with the light grey parts.
Brown
I was like "shiiiiiiit, i need to change something" and just was there with mixed colors all kind of brands and some restcans.
I did not really know what i do and if my colors will match good together at this point.
But when i tried my next brown tone i was like "yeah, that it. with this tone i will do it" and was happy again. I knew i will paint until something cool is on the wall... also i always can change it, paint the whole wall if i dont like it.
This result took away a bit of my fear.
White and Black
Cool, now i work like "a little bit more here, a little bit there, here again, ..." with all the colors until it looks better and better. (Sometimes i stop looking at the reference whats not good for learning and i see this here in the mural!)
I was so happy when i finally did the eye, because this changes so much always.
Looks good, i like it.
I think i changed here some details, parts i dont like and finished soon because i know i like to paint toooo much sometimes and really kind of destroyed some of my works .

I also like this shot, because you can see all the green around and a little bit of the water :)

Hi Edga, that is great idea to decorate such walls of buildings, garages with something like you did. In general I find the idea of squirrel is great, I love these little cute animals. The final colour choice is great and it gives such natural tones. Of course since the eye is there, the whole appearance is lively.
What I actually would add, maybe a nut: hazelnut/ walnut at the side of the tree. The squirrel looks to the tree so it would be great to have a giant nut there. That would give an impression that it is surprised to see such nut :)
