Moon by day
The disturbance caused the birds to flying relentless without stopping anywhere. Die of exhaustion. The land animals were eating non-stop. Humans put handkerchiefs on their faces so they could sleep.
The polar caps began to melt fast and the sea level rose, causing flooding. Both animals and men began to migrate to the highlands to avoid being trapped in the waters.
The bustle of the stampede was deafening. Meanwhile the moon was still visible on the horizon bringing more confusion.
@xpilar, with the little battery left on his laptop, made a picture of what he saw. The stones were being carried away by the water current and were forming a retaining wall. Then, a great idea came to him.
He closed the computer and started asking people to throw stones into the water. But no one stopped, no one listened to him.
He decided to start throwing stones by himself and shouting, "Help me, help me!
Some people thought he was crazy but @xpilar knew what he was doing and kept throwing stones into the water.
Then some homeless children stopped and asked him - are you playing?
And he answered - no, I'm saving our home.
-How we helped you, -said the children.
-Throw stones into the water to be carried away and make a big retaining wall, he said.
The children started throwing stones too. Hours later a large dam had formed and the flood was stopped.
Lying on the hillside, tired from so much work, the children smiled at the moon. They had saved many people's homes and ironically they had nothing.
Someday the artificial sun will go away, said @xpilar, and there will be moonlit nights and again moonless days.
The memory of those fateful hours remained in everyone's mind. Months later the sun and moon settled their disagreements in the solar system and life returned to normal.
Each of the children was adopted by different families and they finally had a home.
@xpilar continues to do digital work and to make a happy ending, I tell you, and he does very well with his art!

La alteración hizo que los pájaros volarán sin cesar sin detenerse en ningún lugar y morían del cansancio. Los animales terrestres comían sin parar. Los humanos se colocaban pañuelos en el rostro para poder dormir.
Los casquetes polares empezaron a derretirse rápidamente y el nivel del mar subió produciendo inundaciones. Tanto los animales como los hombres empezaron a emigrar hacia tierras altas evitando quedar atrapados en las aguas.
El bullicio de la estampida era ensordecedor. Mientras tanto la luna seguía visible en el horizonte trayendo más confusión.
@xpilar, con la poca batería que le quedaba a su computadora portátil, hizo una imagen de lo que veía. Las piedras eran arrastradas por la corriente de agua y estaban formando un muro de contención. Entonces, le vino una gran idea.
Cerró la computadora y empezó a pedirle a la gente que arrojaran piedras al agua. Pero nadie se detenía, nadie lo escuchaba.
Decidió empezar a lanzar piedras él sólo y gritando decía -ayúdenme, ayúdenme!
Unas personas pensaron que estaba loco pero @xpilar sabía lo que hacía y siguió lanzando piedras al agua.
Luego, unos niños vagabundos se detuvieron y le preguntaron –estás jugando?
Y él le respondió –no, estoy salvando nuestro hogar.
-Cómo te ayudamos, dijeron los niños.
-Lancen piedras al agua para que sean arrastradas y hagan un gran muro de contención, dijo él.
Los niños empezaron a lanzar piedras también. Horas más tarde se había formado una gran represa y se frenó la inundación.
Acostados en la ladera, cansados de tanto trabajar, los niños le sonreían a la luna. Habían salvado los hogares de muchas personas y paradójicamente ellos no tenían nada.
Algún día el sol artificial se irá, dijo @xpilar, y volverá a haber noches con luna y días sin luna.
El recuerdo de aquellas horas aciagas quedó en el recuerdo de todos. Meses después el sol y la luna arreglaron sus desacuerdos en el sistema solar y la vida volvió a la normalidad.
Cada uno de los niños fue adoptado por diferentes familias y al fin tuvieron un hogar.
@xpilar sigue haciendo trabajos digitales y para hacer un final feliz les comento que le va muy bien con su arte!

Really liked it because I have a slogan in my logo that you have probably seen there "Never give up and you will see it works"
There are many metaphors in this story:
1.- Don't give up
2.- An idea and its action can save the world but the idea is that it can save anything.
3.- Art saves
