FULL MOON
The hours along the avenue
Drag robes of silk, anew,
Silken robes dream-spun,
Down the stretching promenade, one by one
Beneath the moonlight’s blue embrace…
And in the air, there’s a trace —
A trace that fades but never fades away —
Of a flute that seems to stray,
A flute more imagined than heard,
Softly calm, a waving word
Through the air, drifting, afar…
Silence shimmering, like a star…

In Havana, we can still find quite a few, in varying states of preservation, as well as some heavily altered from their original versions (improvised by the people)...Cheers :)
