Sometimes it is difficult to imagine how it is possible to put the stones together and create such pattern. Nice photos, I like one in colours makes an impression of sandstone too :)

You are absolutely right, I have thought about it many times... the past techniques of architecture seem so interesting that it makes me want to look more into it.
