A cousin has passed away unexpectedly, of a probable heart attack, at the age of 54. I only knew him in his younger days when his mother was my foster parent in my early years. I attended his first wedding when he was 21 years old and I was a bridesmaid. It has had an unsettling effect upon me as it takes me back to my childhood and revives deep seated memories 💭

There is always nature to take refuge in. Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers. We have had little sunshine of late and lots of rainy days 🦋
