PHOTOGRAPHING ARCHITECTURE Contest | 8th edition WINDOWS | Three examples of window architecture
I really wanted to participate in the contest from @xaviduran, but it turned out that I spent a little time photographing windows. There are photos, but it is not possible to correct them according to the required rules. However, I managed to find a few frames where processing is practically not required, and the examples of windows seem interesting to me. I offer you three photos:
- I don't remember where I photographed it. It was in 2008 and the photo had not been published before. I was attracted by the glazing of these balconies and I remember that the glass there was greenish. But, as usual, I preferred to take photos in black and white.
- I took this photo from the window of a bus or tram. Then I tried to catch the exact geometry of the intersection of the axes of pillars, wires, the lines of the lowered window glass, and of course the clouds in the windows of the Subaru dealership attracted my attention first, and then everything else was pulled.
- This photo shows the loopholes in the wall of the Peter and Paul Fortress. I think they can also be considered windows for observing and repelling enemy attacks.
All photos were taken at different times and on different device photos.

Out of the work you present, only the last photo would be acceptable as an architectural photograph. The first two lack the prominence in the image that windows should have as an architectural element. The first one highlights more what seem to be balconies and the second one is quite confusing with too much information to focus the attention on the distant windows, being the cables the real protagonists of the shot. Going back to the last photo, I consider that it has a particular appeal, it is original and produces a certain intrigue for the fact of not knowing what or who is behind its small openings. On the other hand, the lines have a quite acceptable degree of parallelism. I liked it.

Del trabajo que nos presentas solo la última foto sería aceptable como fotografía de arquitectura. Las dos primeras adolecen del protagonismo dentro de la imagen que deben tener las ventanas como elemento arquitectónico. La primera destacan más lo que parecen ser balcones y la segunda es bastante confusa con demasiada información para centrar la atención en las lejanas ventanas, siendo los cables los reales protagonistas de la toma. Volviendo a la última foto, considero que tiene un atractivo particular, es original y nos produce cierta intriga por el hecho de no saber qué o quién hay detrás de sus pequeñas aperturas. Por otro lado las lineas tienen un grado de paralelismo bastante aceptable. Me ha gustado.
