Another Month — I Wonder What it Will Bring?
Normally, May is one of my favorite months of the year... but this year I am happy to see it go!
I am find of May because it means springtime, and the beginning of gardening season around here, and nature comes back to life... and all sorts of other good and hopeful things.
And don't get me wrong, here... this is not a reflection of the crypto and financial market meltdowns we've recently been seeing, at least not very much.
It had been the coldest and rainiest May I can remember in many years... and it has also been a very expensive one, with major repairs needed on our truck which has already cost almost $2,200 and it's going back in the shop tomorrow for an electrical problem to be worked on.
Meanwhile, we are still saving up the get our whole house heater fixed, and that's going to cost another small fortune.
"When it rains, it POURS," the old saying goes... and that certainly seems to have held true, this year.
I typically try to keep a positive frame of mind about life, and I am sticking to that... although it's sometimes tricky. I found myself thinking that I was happy for this month to draw to an end and glad to see the new month arrive, because it couldn't be WORSE... could it?
My mother was always fond of pointing out that we should be grateful, because things could always be worse. So, I just welcome June with hope for things better, but no expectations that they will be.
And maybe that's the important bit: There's nothing wrong with hoping; it's the expectations that will always get you down!
And maybe there are little hope-worthy signs... like Bitcoin actually hitting $32K (however briefly) today, for the first time in over three weeks. Let's hope it's a sign of better things to come!

After hot and dry April we had a rainy and stormy May with lower temperature... They call it: "weather" ;-)))
I agree with your mom that things can always get worse so we always have to be thankful for what happens to us and accept that it is the best thing that could happen to us and at the perfect time, on cryptocurrencies everything that goes up comes down and what goes down goes up so it's a matter of navigating and deciding whether to be there or not, greetings
