Y la misión era llegar de primero a la cima dorada en dónde al tocar el símbolo STEEM-ON lograríamos expandir Steem a todas las redes universales, me encontraba muy nervioso porque había sido escogido entre tantos usuarios; únicamente podían participar 52 y yo me encontraba de número 30 en representación de mi nación Venezuela.

El reto estaba en que ninguno sabía dónde se hallaba está cima dorada, tocaba investigar en los 5 continentes del mundo y la blockchain nos pagaría los viáticos a dónde sea que fuéramos pero solo el primero que logrará palpar el STEEM-ON llegaría a convertirse en el Usuario Universal de Steem, respetando los establecimientos de la comunidad.

Inicié mi viaje hacia los volcanes más altos de la tierra, porque refiriéndome al acertijo que nos otorgaron y mi gusto por estás montañas que expulsan lava, supuse que ese era el lugar indicado. Tomé un vuelo hacía Japón en dónde está el Monte Fuji, pero al llegar a dónde se concentraban las nubes con mi abrigo no encontré ningún rastro de piezas doradas; así que inmediatamente supe que no era en esa montaña. Me fuí por el océano pacífico hasta México en dónde se ubica el Popocatépetl, una de las formaciones volcánicas más grandes del mundo.

Comí bastante tamales en Ciudad de México y subí hasta la área donde se encontraba este volcán pero al llegar solo habían cúmulos de nieve en su borde, nada dorado. Supe de mi amigo @risedaniel que también había sido seleccionado que se ubicaba en una de las minas de oro de la Gran Guayana. Llegué a Colombia y escale el Nevado Ruíz pero solo hallé un hermoso lago, las fotografías en mi cámara eran demasiadas; nunca había conocido tantos lugares, seguí mi travesía hasta Argentina en dónde pude encontrarme con @graceleon, allá conocí de su cultura mientras probaba un delicioso mate, un argentino me sirvió de guía hasta el Nevado Ojos del Salado (el volcán más grande del mundo).

El sendero era bien empinado, por suerte cargaba unos zapatos resistentes, pasamos afluentes y zonas húmedas pero al estar en las alturas lo único que ví de color dorado fue el cielo al ocaso. Ya me sentía algo frustrado y aún me faltaban más de 10 lugares, tomé el siguiente vuelo hasta el volcán Teide en España, pero al llegar solo conocí personas que se convirtieron en mis amistades doradas.

Se terminaba el tiempo para encontrar el STEEM-ON, el día de mañana todo acabaría, así que retorné a mi país natal; ya venía con menor emoción de cuando comencé. Esa noche no pude dormir pensando, amaneció y tocó esperar el anuncio sobre el desafío STEEM-ON. Al abrir el blog pude ver un ¡Felicidades! los 52 participantes que exploraron el mundo pudieron tocar el STEEM-ON Seguramente capturaron muchas fotos, al principio no entendí pero después de terminar de leer comprendí que la cima dorada es que STEEM es una blockchain que expande tus horizontes, te permite conocer nuevas culturas, compartir con amigos e incluso obtener buenas experiencias y grandes aventuras.

The STEEM-ON Challenge

In search of the golden peak ...

And the mission was to get to the golden top first, where by touching the STEEM-ON symbol we would be able to expand * Steem * to all universal networks, I was very nervous because I had been chosen among so many users; Only 52 could participate and I was number 30 representing my nation Venezuela.

The challenge was that no one knew where this golden peak was, it was time to investigate in the 5 continents of the world and the blockchain would pay us the per diem wherever we went, but only the first one who will be able to touch the STEEM-ON would become the Universal User of Steem, respecting the establishments of the community.

I started my journey to the highest volcanoes on earth, because referring to the riddle they gave us and my taste for these mountains that expel lava, I assumed that this was the right place. I took a flight to Japan where Mount Fuji is, but when I got to where the clouds were concentrated with my coat I didn't find any trace of golden pieces; so I immediately knew that it was not on that mountain. I went through the Pacific Ocean to Mexico where Popocatepetl is located, one of the largest volcanic formations in the world.

I ate a lot of tamales in Mexico City and went up to the area where this volcano was located, but when I arrived there were only accumulations of snow on its edge, nothing golden. I learned from my friend @risedaniel who had also been selected that he was located in one of the gold mines of Greater Guyana. I arrived in Colombia and climbed the Nevado Ruíz but I only found a beautiful lake, the photographs on my camera were too many; I had never known so many places, I continued my journey to Argentina where I could meet @graceleon, there I learned about their culture while trying a delicious mate, an Argentine served me as a guide to the Nevado Ojos del Salado (the largest volcano in the world) .

The path was very steep, luckily I was carrying sturdy shoes, we passed tributaries and humid areas but being in the heights, the only thing I saw in golden color was the sky at sunset. I was already feeling somewhat frustrated and I still had more than 10 places to go, I took the next flight to the Teide volcano in Spain, but when I arrived I only met people who became my golden friends.

The time to find STEEM-ON was running out, tomorrow everything would end, so I returned to my native country; I already came with less emotion than when I started. That night I couldn't sleep thinking, it woke up and I had to wait for the announcement about the STEEM-ON challenge. When I opened the blog I could see a Congratulations! The 52 participants who explored the world were able to touch the STEEM-ON * Surely they captured many photos *, at first I did not understand but after finishing reading I understood that the golden peak is that STEEM is a blockchain that expands your horizons, allows you to know new ones cultures, share with friends and even get good experiences and great adventures.
