Poplars in the lagoon - Álmos en la laguna
Landscape of the Salvadora lagoon, with the grove, in the background, that separates it from the Santo Morcillo lagoon. These are two of the famous lagoons of Ruidera, located in the Campo de Montiel, between the provinces of Ciudad Real and Albacete, in Spain. Cervantes immortalized them in the episode of the cave of Montesinos in Don Quixote, a story of story of legends and wonders. Which reminds me that I have an illustration about that episode, so I will share it here soon.

Se trata de dos de las famosas lagunas de Ruidera, enclavadas en el Campo de Montiel, entre las provincias de Ciudad Real y Albacete, en España. Cervantes las inmortalizó en el episodio de la cueva de Montesinos del Quijote, una historia de leyendas y maravillas. Lo que me recuerda que tengo una ilustración sobre ese episodio, así que pronto la compartiré por aquí.
